Projects & Publications

Our studies focus on developing sensors and diagnostic kits for the use in medical, pharmaceutical and food industries.

Our studies have been supported by The Scientific and Technology Research Council of Turkey (1001 - Scientific and Technological Research Projects Funding Program and 2210-C Scholarship Program)

 

Research activity of DRG:

 

  • Immunoassay

Current research project includes: development the different immunoassay formats (ELISA, TRFIA) based on the interaction between antibody and antigen. Our main aim is to develop diagnostic kits for the use in medical area especially diagnosis of diabetes mellitus.

  • Sensors

Our research in this area includes sensors for monitoring various clinic parameters and food additives. We are interested in developing nanomaterial based electrochemical sensor and using novel nanoparticles.

 

  • Genosensor

The research in this topic focuses on developing sensors based on interaction between DNA and drug for investigation of DNA binding mechanisms of drug molecules. These studies play important role in designing more efficient drugs.
